Chicken Box Lunch
To clarify, Rooster's catered a fundraising event - the menu included roasted chicken, beef, and vegetarian lasagne w green beans, roasted potatoes, and salad - excellent all the way around - I had the chicken which was moist and tender, the green beans crisp, but cooked, the potatoes seasoned very nicely - I looked at the vegetarian lasagne, and wanted to change my selection! It looked amazing😋 - nice set-up, excellent staff - highly recommend!
Homemade Soups
Honestly, the prices are too high. They are marked up as though it is a restaurant but in all reality you are a cafeteria for state employees. We will not be getting raises this year and our insurance premiums are increasing 14%. I wish your menu reflected fair prices for us civil servants. I would eat there much more often if I could afford it. $5 for a 1.5 cup serving of soup....
